Fausto Coppi winning the Giro d'Italia circa 1945. The lady in white waiting at the finnish line was Fausto's partner. She was a divorced lady, which was very much frowned upon in Roman Catholic Italy at the time. Coppi was a very talented cyclist, and was his own man, rarely afraid to go his own way. Much respect!
