The Mersey Gateway Bridge spanning over Wigg Island and the River Mersey. The Runcorn Widnes Bridge and Runcorn Rail Bridges are downstream and to the left. My home town of Widnes on the far side of the river. Viewed from Wigg Island to the south of the river. While working on the underside of the bridge I jokingly named this painting "50 shades of grey and ribbed for pleasure!". Thanks to my son for the photography inspiring this painting.
