The arch of the Runcorn Widnes Bridge as seen from Spike Island. I painted this one cica 2008. Around that time the bridge was lit by powerfull floodlights mounted on either side and pointing uopwards. They were so bright a lit area could often be seen in the clouds above the bridge.
